Who We Are
While there are many recyclers and waste haulers competing for cheap volume, there are few companies that approach the industry from a holistic perspective – where waste, recycling and sustainability are viewed not as separate problems but as interrelated and interconnected parts of an organization’s entire operation. Our objective is to design and implement programs that take all three of these disciplines into account so that the final solution addresses and reduces our customers’ overall environmental impact.
The "Overview Effect"
Gazing toward our planet from space, astronauts have often documented a peculiar feeling of “oneness.” They say it’s best explained as a shift in awareness where political boundaries seem to disappear and our conflicts become petty, trivial and insignificant; a feeling brought on by the realization that all we’ve ever known – all of human history, love, dreams and, indeed, the fate of our species is delicately suspended on a tiny blue dot – a layer of atmosphere only paper thin protecting us from the vast, dark void of space. It is in this moment of enlightenment, astronauts say, that the importance of protecting and preserving our home, our little blue dot, becomes blindingly clear. This sudden recognition and awareness has become known as the “overview effect.”
